What are MRFC®, CSA®, CPFA and CRES?

The Master Registered Financial Consultant (MRFC®) is a professional designation awarded by the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants (IARFC) to those financial advisors who can meet the high standards of education, experience and integrity that are required of all its members. Carla & Jim Goedtke are MRFC®'s in good standing.

The Certified Senior Advisor (CSA®) is a professional designation awarded by the Society of Certified Senior Advisors to those financial advisors who have completed a rigorous course of instruction in the concerns facing seniors. The course is taught by a nationally recognized panel of experts in social work, law, medicine, gerontology, geriatrics and financial planning. Upon completion of the course, candidates for the designation must pass a comprehensive exam to demonstrate their knowledge of the issues and their commitment to meeting the needs of their senior clients. Upon successfully passing the CSA® examination, a CSA® automatically becomes a member of the Society of Certified Senior Advisors. Both Jim and Carla Goedtke are CSA®'s in good standing.

A Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFATM) is a financial professional that demonstrates expertise and experience working with retirement plans. CPFATMs can help their clients objectively review their financial status, identify potential concerns, and recommend the appropriate solutions for addressing these retirement matters. Carla earned her CPFATM and is a member of NAPA in good standing.

A NTSA Certified Retirement Education Specialist (CRES) Advisor is qualified and available to teach the Retirement Education program to the employees of your school district. The Certified Retirement Education Specialist has completed a certificate program through the American Retirement Association (ARA) Retirement Planning Academy addressing the important retirement planning considerations of public employees. The NTSA CRES Advisor has agreed to abide by the highest standards of professional conduct and to coordinate all educational activity in accordance with school district solicitation policies and guidelines. Carla has completed her training, testing and annual certification as a CRES and is member in good standing with NTSA. Katie has completed her training and testing for her CRES advisor certification.
