Client Experience Coordinator

Growing Financial Planning firm is seeking a detail orientated individual who will care for the needs of clients, can work within regulatory requirements and is passionate about the success of our clients. Candidates must have excellent communication and organization skills with an interest in communications, finance, retirement and financial planning.

 Position Overview: The Client Services Team is responsible for providing support for the success of its clients. The Client Experience Coordinator will organize, manage, and execute cross-department, client-related projects of high importance to the long-term relationship with the client. The Client Experience Coordinator will fulfill a vital role within the Team. By coordinating large-scope, client related projects, s/he will ensure quality and timely service on client-impacting projects.

A position at an independent financial planning practice will expose the candidate to a wide range of activities. Every day s/he will be challenged to provide superior customer services. As a key team member, the candidate will be charged with ensuring operations follow stringent government regulations on multiple levels.

Requirements: Candidates must have excellent communication and organization skills with an interest in finance, retirement and financial planning. The candidate must be able to intake client inquiries (via telephone, email and personal meeting) and review their requests and work with team members to find and follow up on the best possible solution for their client. Candidates must have the confidence to place outbound requests to clients and companies through all communication avenues to complete pending processing and/or appointment follow up. A minimum of a two-year administrative degree or related experience required; four-year degree in communications, marketing or business administration is preferred.

Financial Services Assistant 

Position Overview:   The Financial Services Consultant position in growing independent, locally owned, financial planning practice that aids in activities relating to investment and insurance products and services to increase efficiency and aid in providing superior client services. This is not a sales position.

CLIENT CONTACT:

Initiates communications to update client information, troubleshoot accounts and ensure client satisfaction. Answers client questions regarding accounts, products, services and all related policies. Facilitates client meetings, requests, transactions and account adjustments. Maintains related records.

FINANCIAL SERVICES:

Investments - Sets up and maintains client investment accounts in accordance with suitability, compliance and firm’s policies. Executes asset transfers. Files and maintains paperwork for clients, firm and custodian. Monitors portfolio performance and updates records of transaction activity.  

Insurance Planning – Meets with prospects and clients to review current health, life, long-term care, funeral, disability and develop insurance plans to best meet their needs. 

Financial Planning - Helps create client financial plans. Services existing client accounts as assigned. Assists clients with the online integration of all of their banking and investment accounts into their financial planning portal. Troubleshoots integration quality. Initiates or expands client relationships in support of firm’s strategic objectives


Coordinates flow of client data and communications. Provides research, client meeting preparation, and development/maintenance of client accounts. Consults with clients—and serves as resource to the firm—on retirement-related planning and issues.

Identifies benchmarks with clients for life changes that impact and warrant changes to clients’ insurance and investment accounts. Educates clients on their true financial picture.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:

Based on the strategic direction of Investors Choice Financial Services Inc. “the firm”, works with team members to identify and develop business relationships by analyzing new-account potential and creating related proposals and presentations. Seeks out strategic partnerships with other professionals such as CPA, attorneys, human resource directors, etc.
